Klaipeda - Neringa Ferry


This is the photo of a small passenger ferry, which departs daily from Klaipeda towards Neringa aka Curonian Spit, the most beatiful part of Lithuania.
Of course, this is not picture of Vilnius, but I believe that all people who loves Vilnius, also enjoy Neringa and therefore road to it :)
This picture was shot during my coastline trip from Riga towards Nida between Latvian-Lithuanian border and Baltic Sea Alley

Tramvajų gatvė


There is no any single meter of tram lines in Vilnius, although there is a street in Anatakalnis named after Tramways :)

Žemaitės gatvė


Žemaitės gatvė is a wide street which serves as a border between two areas in Vilnius Vilkpede and Naujamiestis.
It is named after famous Lithuanian female writer Žemaitė. See similarity to Latvian writer Aspazija.

Railway Station


Railway Station (Geležinkelio stotis) in Vilnius was opened in 1860 as part of Petersrburg - Warsaw railrod. The building itself was built in 1949.
